- Abstract
- These are data about health facilities in Tanzania. This data contains dispensaries, health centres, district hospitals and regional referral hospitals. The data is managed by the Ministry responsible for Regional Administration and Local Government which is currently located in the President’s office (PO-RALG). Most of these facilities are wholly owned by the government. Other health facilities are owned by religious institutions, private persons and NGO's. These data were collected in 2015 and they are continuously updated as there are new records (i.e., when a new health facility is constructed and is operational).
